The 24th Edition of Instants VidéoThe 24rth Edition of Instants Vidéo entitled “Poetic Revolutions”, including exhibitions, installations, performances, screenings and debates will take place in various venues in Marseilles from the 9th to the 13th of November 2011 at the : Fiche la Belle de Mai, Espace Culture, les grands terrains, ADPEI, Mémorial la Marseillaise, La Traverse, La Tangente, Où, Art Position and the Bastide St Joseph. This year, between October and December, the parts of Festival will also feature in Port-de-Bouc, Martigues, Vitrolles, Bédarieux, St Denis, Paris as well as in Italy, Cuba, Mexico and India.

This year’s edition will be dedicted to Mohamed Bouazizi, the Tunisian young man’s suicide that triggered the revolution in Tunisia.

The festival will also give a glimpse of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of video art in 2013! For instance, the VideoPoemOpera SqueeZangueZaùm (1988) by the so inspiring Gianni Toti will be screened.
Michel Jaffrennou, a video art pioneer will present an installation called Story-board’s stories , and a performance on November 12th Ma vie, Mon œuvre Mes bugs which recounts the extraordinary story of the artist from 1974 to now.
