Barcelona, March 9 to April 20, 2006 The exhibition “Living in the Mediterranean” aims at encouraging reflection on the historical and cultural identity of traditional architecture, through the study of the Mediterranean as a space of circulation, developed and modelled by man; the house as a womb and refuge, conceived for privacy and social life and the rehabilitation of traditional architecture underlining the problems of its adaptation to modern life.
Is it possible to talk about Romani arts? If so, what cultural models inspire its standards of beauty? And what is meant by romanipé? Interviews and testimonials on the reality in Italy by creators, academics and researchers.
