Fifteen projects will also be selected for this year’s 2nd Crossroads project held between the 23rd and 25th November. The 2nd Crossroads brings producers of films with a link to the Balkans or Mediterranean into contact with a network of financiers, co-producers and industry specialists from all over the world.

The popular Greek film section, curated by filmmaker Thanos Anastopoulos, will present an overview of this year’s local full-length feature films and a selection of full-length documentaries as well as a competition for digital feature films.

The festival will also include a homage to Brazilian and new Chinese filmmaking, showcasing twenty films from both countries. A special section of films focused on Teenage Lust/Teenage Angst named after Larry Clark’s 1983 photographic series “Teenage Lust” will also be shown. This thematic section of ten films, presented by film critic Konstantinos Kontovrakis will explore the issues of anxiety and adolescence, in an effort to understand and recreate the defining moments of teenage life that inspired some of art and film’s best moments.
