“A Sea of Words” in the Mediterranean | IEMed, Anna Lindh Foundation, European Institute of the Mediterranean, A Sea of Words, intercultural dialogue

The Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) have launched the seventh edition of the international competition of short stories and tales 'A Sea of Words'.

Aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years from the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area, the contest calls for short stories focused on the fight against racist and discriminatory speech online.

 The stories cannot exceed the maximum length of 2,500 words and can be written in any of the official languages of the participating countries. They must be original and wholly unpublished works. The short stories must address issues related to intercultural dialogue, mainly of a political, socio-cultural, economic and environmental nature.

All stories must be sent to the following e-mail address: concurso@iemed.org 

 The authors must include their personal details within the stories submitted (complete name, nationality, address, date of birth, telephone number and e-mail).

The stories can be sent by e-mail until 15th June 2014, midnight
